DESCRIPTION
The bodies of dead animals, shown
undisturbed on the premises where they were found (from October 2014, slight
displacements or additions are allowed).
These lifeless remains allow a normally
inaccessible proximity, from which the
deathly attitudes and expressions can be
caught; to these get superposed the
reminders of our own mortality, given
rise to by these encounters. The title
refers to the use of animal carcasses
or body parts as amulets, notably
according to voodoo rites.
